Classic car tour that ends downtown. Classic cars are parked on Centre Street.
5K Fun Run to benefit the Nassau Education Foundation. The Nassau Education Foundation's mission is to provide funding opportunities via classroom grants and assist initiatives that enhance public education as well as recognize and inspire teachers and students
Check-in: Amelia Island Welcome Center, 102 Centre St, Fernandina Beach. Online tickets.The 37th Taste of Amelia event will showcase culinary treats from a variety of restaurants in Fernandina Beach. Enjoy a “tasting bite” from 20+ locations in Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach and celebrate with music and beverages in Pocket Park. Net proceeds support the Rotary Club of Fernandina Beach Scholarship Fund and our projects supporting education in Nassau County.
5K begins at the front parking lot at the Atlantic Recreation Center (2500 Atlantic Avenue) at 7:30am and the Fun Run begins at 8:30am at Pirates Playground at the back of the Atlantic Recreation Center. Pirate costume contest for kids and adults. T-shirt and Medal for each 5K participant.

As the city of Fernandina Beach gears up to commemorate its upcoming bicentennial on January 1, 2025, we’re thrilled to be part of the festivities with Songs of the Sea. Anchored in history and melodies, this concert will delve into the heart of Fernandina’s vibrant pirate history! Set sail with the Galway Girls, a multi-instrumental band known for their harmonies and memorable arrangements as they perform enthralling renditions of pirate songs, sea shanties, and even a sprinkling of opera! Sharing the stage is local historian Dr. Jonathan Bryant, who will spin tales of captivating pirate lore, bringing to life the legends that have shaped this coastal community.

Beach Junki invites you to the Earth Day Turtle Fest at Main Beach Park!! Come shellabrate Mother Earth and the annual arrival of Sea Turtles! This family friendly event is free and will have conservation exhibits, a Kids Korner with educational activities, local live music, food trucks and a Vendor Village. The Annual Isle of 8 Flags Shrimp Festival will be held May 2-5 with the Shrimp Festival parade on May 2nd at 5:30pm being the kickoff event.

The annual week long Amelia Island Jazz Festival provides a rich, diverse cultural offering to the Amelia Island area by exposing thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds to the sounds, excitement and vitality of great jazz. The Festival presents world-class jazz in many styles, including swing, bebop, Dixieland, big band, Latin, and contemporary. Performances are staged in several venues around Amelia Island including the Courtyard | Springhill Suites Amelia Island by Marriott, Sadler Ranch, The Decantery, Mocama Beer Company, and the Atlantic Rec Center.
