Taste of Amelia

The 37th Taste of Amelia event will showcase culinary treats from a variety of restaurants in Fernandina Beach. Enjoy a “tasting bite” from 20+ locations in Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach and celebrate with music and beverages in Pocket Park. Pirates on the Run 5K and Fun Run

5K begins at the front parking lot at the Atlantic Recreation Center (2500 Atlantic Avenue) at 7:30am and the Fun Run begins at 8:30am at Pirates Playground at the back of the Atlantic Recreation Center. Amelia Island Opera - Songs of the Sea

As the city of Fernandina Beach gears up to commemorate its upcoming bicentennial on January 1, 2025, we’re thrilled to be part of the festivities with Songs of the Sea. Anchored in history and melodies, this concert will delve into the heart of Fernandina’s vibrant pirate history! Set sail with the Galway Girls, a multi-instrumental band known for their harmonies and memorable arrangements as they perform enthralling renditions of pirate songs, sea shanties, and even a sprinkling of opera! Sharing the stage is local historian Dr. Jonathan Bryant, who will spin tales of captivating pirate lore, bringing to life the legends that have shaped this coastal community.

This event provides an excellent opportunity for anyone searching for a job to meet face-to-face with potential employers located in the Nassau County area. Food trucks will be on-site and open throughout the evening, so make sure to come hungry! Employers: To register as a vendor for the Job Fair, please click 'Exhibitor Registration'. Currently not open to organizations looking to fill volunteer positions. Chamber Members and Non-Members are welcome to sign up, with prices varying based on the number of employees your business has. Tables and 2 chairs will be provided. Plan for space equal to 4x4 feet, and prepare to share a table with other employers. Spots are limited, so secure one as soon as possible. Amelia Island Jazz Festival

The annual week long Amelia Island Jazz Festival provides a rich, diverse cultural offering to the Amelia Island area by exposing thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds to the sounds, excitement and vitality of great jazz. The Festival presents world-class jazz in many styles, including swing, bebop, Dixieland, big band, Latin, and contemporary. Performances are staged in several venues around Amelia Island including the Courtyard | Springhill Suites Amelia Island by Marriott, Sadler Ranch, The Decantery, Mocama Beer Company, and the Atlantic Rec Center. 28th Annual 8 Flags Car Show

Annual Car show consisting of everything from restored antiques to modern era limited edition corvettes. Entrants travel great distances to participate.
