Airport Information

Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport (FHB) resides on approximately 850 acres of property on Amelia Island. 

The airport is open 24/7 year-round, and is attended daily from 0700-1900 local time (except Christmas Day). Transient aircraft are always welcome. Currently, the airport is home to approximately 56 aircraft.

FHB has three active runways (04/22, 09/27 and 13/31) and four taxiways (A, B, C, D, and E).

Runway 4/22

Asphalt surface, 5,300 feet long, 100 feet wide, in good condition (resurfaced in 2004). MIRL lighting. RNAV Approaches on Runway 4 and Runway 22.

Runway 9/27

Concrete surface, 5,001 feet long, 100 feet wide, in good condition (resurfaced in 2003). MIRL lighting.

Runway 13/31

Asphalt surface, 5,152 feet long, 100 feet wide, in good condition (resurfaced in 2010). MIRL lighting. RNAV Approach on Runway 13.
