Camp Amelia Summer Program

This program, located at the Atlantic Recreation Center, is for children going into kindergarten - going into 6th grade.  Daily snacks are provided, and activities include: swimming; arts & crafts; indoor and outdoor activities; weekly field trips; and daily walking trips.

Registration begins on the Monday following Nassau County schools' spring break.

Summer Camp Amelia 2022 registration
  • Monday, March 21st, 7:30am, through Friday, March 25th in the Youth Camp office at the Atlantic Recreation Center - Open to City residents, City employees, military, and currently enrolled youth camp participants.  SUMMER CAMP IS FULL
  • Monday, March 28th until full in the Atlantic Center main office (if any openings available) - Open to City and Non-City residents.
  • Summer Camp registration fee (due at registration):  $137 per child
Summer Camp registration packets will be available for pick-up in the Atlantic Recreation Center main office beginning Tuesday, March 15th.

Summer Camp Amelia begins Tuesday, May 31st.

Camp days and hours:  Monday - Friday from 7:00am-6:00pm
  • Camp drop-off times each day:  7:00-9:00am
  • Pick-up from camp each day:  3:00-6:00pm
Closed on observed City holidays for Juneteenth (June 20th, 2022) and Independence Day (July 4th, 2022).
    
Weekly Rates*
City residents:  $90/week; $80 additional sibling
Non-City residents:  $112/week City residents; $102 additional sibling

*All weeks of summer camp must be paid for by each participant (except for 2 weeks allowed as "vacation").  Camp staff must be notified in advance of the 2 vacation weeks.

NOTE:  All credit card and debit card transactions will be charged a service fee of 2.5%, with a minimum charge of $1.95.

Weekly payments for Summer Camp Amelia may be made on-line at www.cofbparksandrec.us  First time users must create accounts. 

General Information
 

 Children are divided into three (3) groups:
  1. Going into Kindergarten
  2. Going into 1st grade and Going into 2nd grade
  3. Going into 3rd grade through Going into 6th grade

Lunches are provided by the Nassau County School Board.
