Joint Information Center

A Joint Information Center (JIC) has been established at the Nassau County Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The EOC is currently operating at Level 2, which means it has enhanced staffing between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Staff is able to respond to questions by phone (904-548-0900) or through Facebook messaging. If you need questions answered outside of these operating hours, the Nassau County Department of Health is available to answer calls (904-875-6100).

The benefits of a JIC include consistent messaging, a central working facility, pooled resources and enhanced information sharing. We are all in this together. One Nassau!

Involved organizations include the Nassau County Emergency Management Center, the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office, City of Fernandina Beach (including Police and Fire Departments), Nassau County, and the Nassau County Department of Health.
