1. Can a homeowner pull their own permit?

A home owner is allowed to apply for permits provided the home is for the owner’s sole use and occupancy. The property may not be available for rent or sale for one year upon completion of permitted improvements.

2. What is the cost associated with a Building Permit?

The cost is based on the individual job cost and is formulated at the time of approval. City Staff will contact the applicant when the permit is ready and the amount due will be available at this time.
