Message Marquees

The Parks & Recreation Department offers rentals of three (3) message marquees on which to display messages, such as birthday wishes, event titles/dates/locations, local business advertisements, etc.  Each of the marquees is located close to a road, so each gets high visibility.

Rental fees per marquee:

  • $25 per day per side (upon availability)
  • $20 per day per side - facility renter (upon availability)


Atlantic Center Marquee

Located along Atlantic Avenue in front of the Atlantic Recreation Center, 2500 Atlantic Avenue

This marquee has two sides - one facing east, one facing west - and each side has four (4) lines that can display sixteen (16) letters/characters per line.

Main Beach Marquee

Located at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and North Fletcher Avenue

This marquee has one side facing west.  It contains four (4) lines that can display sixteen (16) letters/characters per line.

MLK, Jr. Center Marquee

Located along Elm Street in front of the MLK, Jr. Recreation Center, 1200 Elm Street

This marquee has two sides - one facing east, one facing west - and each side has five (5) lines that can display 24 letters/characters per line.
