Try Diving Experience
Have you ever wanted to try scuba diving just to see if you would like it?
A Try Diving Experience program, available to ages 8 and up, gives you the opportunity to experience scuba in a confined environment without committing to an entire certification course.
Join a certified Scuba Diving Instructor or Divemaster for a 1 - 2-hour introductory scuba session (varies according to number of participants) in the Atlantic Recreation Center Pool (pool heated during the winter months). A Try Diving session is customized to fit your schedule, so contact Scuba Station prior to registration to discuss.
Bring a bathing suit and towel (mask, snorkel, and fins will be provided if you do not have your own).
Couple (friends or family): $90
Family or Group (up to 5 people): $150
Register at the Atlantic Recreation Center after contacting Scuba Station to discuss scheduling.
Participants must complete a "Try Diving Release of Liability" form and "Medical Questionnaire" prior to participation. Download Release of Liability form here: Try Diving Release of Liability
Forms for minors require parents/legal guardians signatures.
NOTE: If you have an existing medical condition and/or are taking any prescription medication(s), a physician’s approval will be required prior to participating in scuba diving.
If you are already a certified diver and could use a refresher, an in-water skills and equipment review session is also available for the same fee.
