Junior Tennis Clinics Schedule


Spring III Session:  April 10th - May 18th 


Days, times, and fees for each level:

Red Ball I (ages 8 and under)
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:00-3:45pm

Intended for players new to the game.  Strokes will be introduced on the forehand, backhand, and volleys.  Players will begin to learn how to rally. 

Fees per session:  $90 City residents, $108 Non-City 


Red Ball 2 (ages 10 and under)
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:45-4:30pm

Players will focus on rally-building and strokes mechanics.  The serve will be introduced, and players will learn to play points and keep score.

Fees per session:  $90 City residents, $108 Non-City


Orange Ball (ages 12 and under)
Mondays & Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00pm

Players will develop proper strokes mechanics on the forehand, backhand, volleys, and the serve.  Players will learn to play singles and doubles. 

Fees per session:  $120 City residents, $144 Non-City


Green Ball (ages 12 and under) 
Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00pm

Proper strokes techniques will be reinforced with fed ball and live drills.  Singles and doubles strategies and tactics will be discussed.

Fees per session:  $120 City residents, $144 Non-City


Jr. Intermediate (ages 11 and up)
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-6:00pm

This program is intended for players participating in USTA events and playing on their middle or high school tennis teams.

Fees per session:  $180 City residents, $216 Non-City


Jr. Advanced (ages 11 and up)
Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00-6:30pm

This program is intended for players participating in USTA events and playing on their high school tennis teams.

Fees per session:  $180 City residents, $216 Non-City

Wednesdays:  8:00 - 9:00am with Coach Rod Gibson

Intermediate Drills Clinic (3.0 - 3.5)
Wednesdays:  10:30am - 12:00pm with Coach Don Turner
$15 City residents, $18 Non-City

Intermediate Strokes Clinic (3.0 - 3.5)
Wednesdays:  9:00 - 10:30am with Coach Rod Gibson
$15 City residents, $18 Non-City

Intermediate / Advanced Drills Clinic (3.5 - 4.0)
Thursdays:  6:00 - 7:30pm with Coach Rod Gibson
$15 City residents, $18 Non-City

Intermediate / Advanced Drills Clinic (3.5 - 4.0)
Saturdays:  9:00 - 10:30am with Coach Don Turner

Private lessons (Tennis Pro + 1 player)

  • With director:  $60/hour City resident, $70 Non-City; $30/half-hour City resident, $35 Non-City
  • With staff professional:  $50 City resident, $60 Non-City; $25/half-hour City resident, $30 Non-City

Semi-Private lessons (Tennis Pro + 2 players)  

  • With director:  $35/hour City residents, $40 Non-City
  • With staff professional:  $30/hour per City resident, $35 Non-City

Group lessons 

  • Director + 3 players:  $24 per hour per City resident, $27 Non-City
  • Director + 4 players:  $18 per hour per City resident, $20 Non-City
  • Director + 5 players:  $14 per hour per City resident, $16 Non-City
  • Director + 6 or more players:  $12 per hour per City resident, $14 Non-City
  • Staff professional + 3 players:  $20 per hour per City resident, $24 Non-City
  • Staff professional + 4 players:  $15 per hour per City resident, $18 Non-City
  • Staff professional + 5 players:  $12 per hour per City resident, $15 Non-City
  • Staff professional + 6 or more players:  $10 per hour per City resident, $12 Non-City
