Camp Amelia Afterschool Program

These programs, licensed through the Department of Children and Families, are located at the Atlantic Recreation Center.

Camp Amelia Afterschool Program will be closed March 20 - March 24 for mandatory staff training. 


Grades/Schools

Kindergarten through 2nd grade at Southside Elementary School.

3rd through 5th grades at Emma Love Hardee Elementary School.

Program information:

  • Parks & Recreation staff pick up children from schools on Bus #19246.
  • Children get daily snacks.
  • Homework time
  • Outside activities
  • Indoor activities


Weekly Rates

City residents:  $65/week, $55 per additional sibling
Non-City residents:  $81/week, $71 per additional sibling (Non-City residents must pay an additional $30 annual fee; the fee is valid October 1st - September 30th)

NOTE:  All credit card and debit card transactions will be charged a service fee of 2.55%, with a minimum charge of $2.00.

Payments for Camp Amelia Afterschool Program may be made online at www.cofbparksandrec.us after an account is created by the Program Supervisor.
 

Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday from end of school day until 6:00pm

Open on teacher planning days, Winter Break, and Spring Break.
(additional fees apply to full days off from school)

Closed on the following observed City holidays:  Labor Day; Veterans’ Day; Thanksgiving; Day After Thanksgiving; Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; New Year’s Day; Martin Luther King Day; and Good Friday.  Please consult with Camp Amelia staff on the exact dates of the above holidays.
