Camp Amelia Afterschool Program

These programs, licensed through the Department of Children and Families, are located at the Atlantic Recreation Center.

Grades/Schools

Kindergarten through 2nd grade at Southside Elementary School and Fernandina Beach Christian Academy

3rd through 5th grades at Emma Love Hardee and Fernandina Beach Christian Academy


Program information:

  • Parks & Recreation staff pick up children from schools on Bus #19246.
  • Children get daily snacks.
  • Homework time
  • Outside activities
  • Indoor activities


Weekly Rates (3 days = week)

City residents:  $60/week, $50 per additional sibling
Non-City residents:  $74/week, $64 per additional sibling

Payments for Camp Amelia Afterschool Program may be made online at www.cofbparksandrec.us after an account is created by the Camp Director.
 

Daily Rates

City residents:  $23 ($15 per additional sibling)
Non-City residents:  $31 ($21 per additional sibling)


Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday from end of school day until 6:30pm

Open on teacher planning days, Winter Break, and Spring Break.
(additional fees apply to full days off from school)

Closed on the following observed City holidays:  Labor Day; Veterans' Day; Thanksgiving; Day After Thanksgiving; Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; New Year's Day; Martin Luther King Day; and Good Friday.  Please consult with Camp Amelia staff on the exact dates of the above holidays.
