Online bill payment methods include:
 Credit/debit card (Service fee of 3.1%/$2 minimum applies)
 eCheck (No Service Fee)
 
 When Paying by eCheck: 
 Payments must be on US funds and drawn on a US bank.
 If your bank does not honor eChecks, you will be responsible for any applicable fees.
 Additional fees may apply for eChecks returned for any reason.

The Building Department ensures development proposals comply with building codes and ordinances, regulations and standards set forth by the Florida Building Code and other regulatory agencies. The department reviews building plans and oversees the City permit issuance process, performing prompt and thorough inspections at the various stages of constructions.

We are now using our online permitting software. All permitting is done online at this time. To use our online system, you must register with an email address currently on file with the City. If you do not have an email address on file, or if you would like to use a different email address, please call the Building Department: (904) 310- 3135. 


To report after hours unpermitted construction-related activities, please call (904)310-3135, select Building Department, and leave a message. 


All records produced prior to our online permitting software going live in March 2020 may be obtained by sending an email to cddinfo@fbfl.city or by completing a Public Records Request
